    Katrina Kaif finds a tough competitor in Jacqueline Fernandez...

    Katrina Kaif and Jacqueline Fernandez are the most sought after actresses for award shows this season.

    The awards season is here. Along with the trophies and red carpet appearances, one thing we will be keeping a lookout for are the performances. It seems the two ladies who are being totally sought after by organisers this year are Katrina Kaif and Jacqueline Fernandez. 

    Kat, of course is a favourite. The diva is one of the best dancers of Bollywood and has the hit Kala chashma from Baar Baar Dekho to her credit. It is one of the biggest chartbusters of the year and has many YouTube versions as well. As per a report in Hindustan Times, she is flooded with requests to perform on that groovy track. However, she has a huge competitor in Jacqueline Fernandez. The Sri Lankan beauty also has Dishoom’s Sau tarah ke in her kitty, which is one of the best dance numbers of the year. A source told the paper, “All songs that feature Jacqueline have been popular with the audience. Starting with ‘Lat lag gayee’ (Race 2; 2013), ‘Chittiyaan kalaiyaan’ and ‘Sooraj dooba hain’ (Roy; 2015), and most recently, ‘Beat pe booty’ (A Flying Jatt), all her songs have been popular.” 

    Likewise, even Katrina has a great ‘track record’ to her credit. Songs like Chikni Chameli from Agneepath, Sheila ki jaawani (Tees Maar Khan) and Kamli (Dhoom:3) set Kat leagues apart from her contemporaries in this department. The latest one is Kala chashma where Katrina’s unbelievably toned abs made as much news as the peppy notes.

    Bollywood’s princess Alia Bhatt is also high on demand. The actress also has a superhit Ladki Beautiful from Kapoor And Sons in her kitty. Most of the organisers want these three actresses to perform at the award shows. While Jacqueline Fernandez is flooded with requests, she is facing a time crunch. The lady is shooting for Reloaded with Sidharth Malhotra. The lady is trying her best to figure out dates to accommodate a few performances.
