Joining forces: Atif Aslam to collaborate with Akon.

It seems like Atif Aslam is taking the music industry by storm as the star is not just collaborating with Indian singers but also singing alongside acclaimed international artists.

The Tere Sang Yaara crooner is all set to work with the Grammy award-nominated Akon, for the film Tum Bin 2, reported DNA India.

“Ankit Tiwari will compose the romantic song to be sung by Atif Aslam, with Akon singing the hook-line in Hindi. The video will be shot at a fifive-star vintage hotel in India,” said a source. The film is a sequel of Tum Bin which will be directed by Anubhav Sinha, who also aims to reproduce the song Tumhare Siva Kuch Na.

“Sinha is keen to recreate the Tumhare Siva Kuch Na track from Tum Bin as it had topped music charts in 2001,” the source added. Speaking about Akon’s comeback in Bollywood, Sinha said, “It’s too early to divulge details as we are in the initial stages of discussion with Akon’s team.”

Rumours are abuzz that the film will also feature West Indies cricketer-singer Dwayne Bravo’s upbeat number JaegerbombTum Bin 2 will be shot in Scotland with some new Bollywood actors.
