Pakistani exhibitors stand united with their armed forces and their artists - who have reportedly been banned by the Indian Motion Picture Producers' Association (IMPPA) - and to prove their allegiance, the exhibitors earlier announced that they will not screen Indian films in their cinemas until normalcy returns.
Then what will the cinemas exhibit, if not Indian films? Clearly, we are not producing enough Pakistani films to satisfy the need of multiplexes. The exhibitors, have found a solution to the problem and plan to replace Indian films with old Pakistani films from October 8. Cinepax was one of the first cinemas to announce their new schedule which includes films like Bin Roye, Manto, Zinda Bhaag, Bachaana, Dukhtar, Moor, and Mah-e-Mir.
