Arjun Kapoor and Parineeti Chopra Come Together Again After Ishaqzaade

The Ishaqzaade duo, Arjun Kapoor and Parineeti Chopra are all set to reunite on the big screen in Dibakar Banerjee’s Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar. After a five-year gap, fans will get to experience their dynamic chemistry in this thriller, all over again!

The film is said to be about a man and woman who represent two different sides of the Indian community. The storyline revolves around their mutual mistrust, suspicion, and hate for each other. Commenting on the film, director Dibakar said, “This feels like my first film, again. I’ve had to unlearn everything I know to tell this story about a man and a woman who can’t stand each other but can’t survive without each other.” After last having directed stellar films like Love Sex Aur Dhoka and Detective Byomkesh Bakshy, the ace director is all set to embark on directing this dramatic thriller, which will be his second film under the YRF banner.

Expressing his happiness of being part of this film, Arjun Kapoor said: “It feels great to be back home at YRF working with Adi Sir and Parineeti, my most amazing and first ever co- actor. Dibakar Banerjee is a name synonymous with being the torchbearer of evolving new age cinema that engages and entertains. I can’t wait to work under his tutelage and vision. Main Dibakar aur Parineeti ke saath faraar hone ke liye fully tayyar and excited hoon.”

After her last stint in Meri Pyaari Bindu, that gathered mixed reactions, Parineeti is all set to bite into her new character and deliver an intense performance. She was quoted saying, “After Ishaqzaade, Arjun and I used to dream about working with Dibakar one day! His films are so different and always make an impact.”
