Akshay Kumar calls on fans to go for 'Gold'

Megastar Akshay Kumar has revealed a new social media challenge ahead of the release of his new film on 15th August.

With just over a week to go until release, ‘GOLD’ is generating excitement amongst audiences eager to discover the story of India’s first Olympic Gold medal. Now, Akshay Kumar has announced the launch of a daring new social media challenge that is sure to get fans and their friends into a fighting fit team!

Today Akshay Kumar took to Twitter to call on fans to take part in the #GoldBinChallenge, a new social media challenge that calls on audiences to team up to get a hockey ball into a bin. Accompanying the tweet was a video with an impressive display of teamwork from the Gold team, as each member passed the ball along without dropping it until it reached Akshay at the end who knocked it in the bin.

He tweeted, “No matter what the sport, it takes teamwork to accomplish even the smallest victory. I know because team ‘Gold' had a hard but fun time doing this: Can you unite your team and take up the #GoldBinChallenge?”
