Three Yorkshire women have received British Empire Medals for contributions they’ve made to their local communities.
Trudi Jeannette Abadi, of Leeming Bar, received the medal for her services to law and order.
Michelle Beckett, from Harrogate, was awarded hers for services to disadvantaged people in the UK and abroad and Jennifer Caswell Hildyard, from York, was rewarded for services to the community.
They were awarded the medals at a ceremony in Northallerton, from Mr Barry Dodd CBE, The Lord-Lieutenant of North Yorkshire.
