Three men from South Manchester have been jailed for raping a teenage girl.
23 year old Daniel Thomas of Beresford Street, Moss Side was jailed at Manchester Crown Court, Crown Square for 10 years and six months after pleading guilty to rape at an earlier hearing. He was also jailed for a further six months for affray and possession of a bladed article.
23 year old Lucas Koky of Rolls Crescent, Hulme was jailed for 12 years and three months after he pleaded guilty to rape at an earlier hearing.
19 year old Mohammed Mustafa of Thorncombe Road, Moss Side was jailed for 10 years and nine months after he also pleaded guilty to rape at an earlier hearing.
On Friday 20 November 2015, the 15-year-old victim was at a party at a house in Moss Side with Thomas, Koky and Mustafa who passed her a number of alcoholic drinks before they followed her into the bathroom and raped her.
After the ordeal, she was able to leave the property and report the incident to police.
Detective Constable James Coles, of GMP’s City of Manchester Team, said, “The young victim has been put through a disgusting and harrowing ordeal with detrimental effects on her wellbeing.“
“These men have now been jailed for their horrendous crimes. They are safely behind bars and are no longer able to prey on young girls.”
