Two police officers were injured in a large-scale disturbance outside of a shopping centre in Salford.
Police were called out to reports of a group of youths smashing lights and throwing bottles at Ellesmere Shopping Centre in Walkden on Monday night (19 February).
Officers were confronted by the gang and two had to be taken to hospital, one with a broken ankle.
A 14-year-old boy was arrested on suspicion of assaulting two police officers and criminal damage.
