More than 2,300 have signed a petition calling for a Queensbury park to be dropped as a potential site for a new crematorium.

Bradford Council is searching for potential new sites after declaring Nab Wood and Scholemoor crematoria as working far beyond their life span.

A petition has been started calling for the council to remove Littlemoor Park from a list of potential sites, and is now likely to be heard at a meeting of Bradford Council later this month.

Many Shipley residents were relieved last week after Northcliffe Park was dropped from the council’s list.
