A murder investigation has been launched in Rochdale.
Shortly before 1.20pm on Wednesday 7 February, police were called to Clement Royds Street by the ambulance service, after a woman had been found with multiple stab wounds.
When emergency services attended, they found the body of a woman believed to be in her 40s.
A 31-year-old man from Rochdale was arrested on suspicion of murder.
