A man has been arrested after he became violent whilst being taken to custody.
Police were called shortly before 10am yesterday (Wednesday 9 September) to an incident on M62.
Officers from Cheshire Police were transporting a 44-year-old man to police custody in Cheshire, when he became violent.
The blue Peugeot 208 carrying the officers, pulled onto the hard shoulder of the motorway and officers from West Yorkshire Police attended to assist.
A 44-year-old man, from Fartown, was arrested by West Yorkshire Police.
