A woman has been left in hospital with serious injuries after she was attacked in Clayton.
Shortly before 5.10am on Saturday 24 February, Greater Manchester Police were called to reports that a woman had been assaulted in a property on Bank Street.
Officers attended and found a 30-year-old woman with serious injuries. She has been taken to hospital where she remains for treatment.
A 39-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder. He was also taken to hospital for treatment.
