Detectives in Huddersfield are appealing for information after an unprovoked attack on a man walking home.
The incident happened on Saturday 9 April at around 10:45pm, the male victim was walking home from Huddersfield town centre along Park Drive South. As he reached the junction of Gledholt Road, he was approached by four male suspects.
They attacked him by kicking him on his leg and demanded his wallet and back pack. The items were handed over and they all ran off into the town centre.
All four of the male suspects are described as 5ft 10", medium build and around 22-years-old with Yorkshire accents.
Three of men were wearing dark coloured clothing with their hoods up, completely covering their faces. The other male was also wearing dark coloured clothing and had brown hair, with a fringe that covered some of his forehead.
Detective Constable Shaun Topham, of Huddersfield CID, said: "This was an unprovoked attack on this man by four men who were clearly attacking as a group. Thankfully on this occasion, the victim received only minor injuries.
