A brick was thrown at a police officer in Greater Manchester.
At around 8.20pm on Monday 12 June, officers responded to reports of antisocial behaviour on Rosshill Walk in Hulme.
One officer remained seated in a marked police car when a man approached the car and threw a brick with force.
The officer was able to avoid serious injury by accelerating at speed, causing the brick to hit the rear passenger window of the car.
Police are keen to speak to a man who is described as mixed race, aged between 25 and 30, around 5ft 10in and of medium build.
He was wearing a blue jacket and a cap.
They believe he may have been part of a larger group of young people in the Rosshill Walk area and are appealing for any information from witnesses or other members of the community.
A spokesperson from Greater Manchester Police said they were "absolutely sickened by this incident".
