Police have released CCTV images after a cash in transit driver was robbed in North Manchester.
At around 2pm on Thursday 28 July 2016 two men were travelling on a motorbike along Bury Old Road, North Manchester before stopping behind a cash in transit van.
The rear pillion passenger got off the motorbike and shouted at the cash in transit driver to give him the cash box he was carrying whilst brandishing a knife.
The cash in transit driver threw the box, which was empty, at the man who then fled the scene on the motorbike towards the city centre.
Officers investigating the robbery have released CCTV images of the men they would like to speak to.
Detective Inspector Chris Flint of GMP's City of Manchester Team, said: "This is a terrifying robbery that has left the cash in transit driver very shaken.
"I'm appealing to anyone who may recognise the men on the motorbike or the motorbike itself to get in touch.
"I am also appealing to the members of the public in the CCTV images to come forward and give us any information they have about the incident."
