Police have released a number of CCTV images of men who they would like to identify to speak to in connection with an assault in Huddersfield town centre.
The assault happened at around 4.50am on Sunday, 5 June, in Lord Street, Huddersfield. The victim, a 39-year-old man, has reported being assaulted in the street by a group of males and required hospital treatment for head and facial injuries.
A 24-year-old man from Elland has been arrested and bailed in connection with this offence.
Detective Constable Emma Forber said: "This attack has taken place in a busy part of town, close to clubs and taxi ranks. As part of our continued enquiries, we are keen to speak to anyone who witnessed this assault or who recognises the men in these CCTV images (which can be viewed on the Force website).
"Anyone with information is asked to either call the Suspect Management Unit at Huddersfield on 01484 436682 or to pass details anonymously to independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111."
