Believing in Bradford has announced the people chosen to serve as Bradford Ambassadors for the 2019/20 year.
The diverse group come from areas across the district, with a variety of different faiths, backgrounds and occupations among them.
The new Ambassadors will commence their work early next month with an introductory session on October 5, before later going on to represent the city and district at a variety of civic occasions and events.
As ambassadors the new cohort will work alongside the Lord Mayor Councillor Doreen Lee, the Bishop of Bradford - Toby Howarth - and Bradford Ambassadors from previous years.
Speaking on becoming an ambassador Sunrise Radio Yorkshire’s Raj Parmar said: “I am truly honoured and humbled to have been selected as an ambassador for Bradford.
“I absolutely love this city and look forward to promoting the opportunities that exist and working alongside the team to ensure Bradford is seen in a positive light not just locally but on a national and international scale.”
