3 men, from West Yorkshire and London, have been charged with an offence of arranging funds or property for the purposes of terrorism (contrary to Section 17 of TACT 2000).
Pervez Rafiq, from Huddersfield, Mashoud Miah and Mohhamed Ibrahim Hussain, both from London, were charged on Tuesday 1st March and have since appeared at court.
Two of the men were arrested as part of an ongoing CT investigation led by North East Counter Terrorism Unit in April 2015 (Rafiq and Miah) and the third man (Hussain) was arrested in September 2015.
The investigation was intelligence led and there is no evidence to suggest that any communities were or are at immediate risk in connection with this operation.
