Two men who were caught speeding at 90mph on Bradford streets have been spared jail.
Mohammed Umer, 20, of Hendford Drive, Bradford, and Zawar Sheir, 21, of Fizinghall Road, both denied racing on Otley Road and into Manningham when they were stopped by police at 12.30am on 17 April this year.
However, they admitted their speed had peaked at 90mph when they pleaded guilty to dangerous driving.
The pair were sentenced to 18 weeks imprisonment, suspended for 12 months, 180 hours of unpaid work and a 15-day Rehabilitation Act Requirement.
They were both disqualified from driving for 18 months.
