    Audiences celebrate blockbuster at Sultan Wrestling Tournament

    To celebrate the release and momentous opening of blockbuster film, Sultan, Yash Raj Films in association with LDN Wrestling and Sunrise Radio hosted the Sultan Wrestling Tournament Saturday 9th July 2016 at one of North England’s biggest Bollywood hotspots, Cineworld Bradford.

    The wrestling showdown welcomed some of Europe’s most renowned pro wrestlers, who went head to head to win the coveted Sultan trophy. Winning the Sultan title was champion wrestler, Alan Lee Travis, who was presented with the trophy by Avtar Panesar, Vice President, International Operations, Yash Raj Films; Imran Hussain, MP for Bradford East; and David Wilson, Director, Bradford UNESCO City of Film.

     

    ​As well as enjoying the in-ring antics, Sunrise Radio were there entertaining the audience with music and free give-aways to those that shared their own stories of who their real life ‘Sultans’ and heroes are during the family day out, winning Sultan prizes of their very own.
