Sunrise Radio Chief Executive receives Highly Commended award

Usha Parmar, Chief Executive of Sunrise Radio, wins Highly Commended award at the first ever British Asian Women’s Awards 2024.

These awards look to offer a platform to award and recognise the hard work, grit and determination of the women that are the driving force behind these industries and businesses.

The awards took place at a black tie ceremony on Saturday 1^st June in Birmingham.

Usha Parmar thanked all the listeners and businesses who have supported the award winning station over the last thirty five years.
