Sanju trailer becomes one of hottest trending topics!

This summer sees the release of one of the most anticipated Bollywood films, SANJU - the official biopic of the legendary actor Sanjay Dutt.

SANJU is a hilarious and heart-breaking exploration of one man’s battle against his own wild self and the formidable external forces trying to crush him. It depicts the journey of a man through everything that life can throw at him. Playing the titular role of Sanjay Dutt is the heartthrob of Indian cinema and one of its biggest superstars Ranbir Kapoor. The film also stars Paresh Rawal, Vicky Kaushal, Sonam Kapoor, Dia Mirza and Anushka Sharma.

Sanju is directed by Rajkumar Hirani who delivered one of India's biggest blockbuster films 3 Idiots and PK.

The anticipation around the film is huge to the extent that the film’s trailer took the internet by storm upon its release, with SANJU becoming the highest trending topic worldwide on Twitter shortly after release, in addition to trending on Facebook. SANJU also quickly became the most searched keyword on Google, with over 200,000 searches for the film taking place following the release of the trailer, and the topic becoming one of the trending stories on Google News. In just 24 hours the trailer generated 20.4 Million views across YouTube and Facebook, becoming a talking point across all digital platforms within just a few hours of its launch.
