It was claimed last year that Salman Khan‘s Tubelight will be based on a Hollywood movie –Little Boy. However, the makers of the film made no comment.
Since then a lot of speculations were made around the plot of the movie, however once the teaser came, the truth was out!
Now director Kabir Khan has gone on record and clarified that Salman Khan’s Tubelight has been OFFICIALLY adapted from Little Boy.
While talking to DNA After Hrs, director Kabir Khan confirmed that the movie has been adapted and said, “It is in the credits of Tubelight as Official Story Adaptation. But it’s just the seed of an idea. Everything else has been completely changed in Tubelight.”
For those of you who don’t know, Tubelight is set against the backdrop of the 1962 Indo-China war. Starring Salman Khan, Sohail Khan and Zhu Zhu, the movie is scheduled to release on Eid this year (June 23). While the movie looks interesting by itself too, the fact that Salman will be in a never-seen-before avatar of an innocent guy has made everyone excited for the movie.
