RANVEER SINGH WELCOMES DEEPIKA PADUKONE ON TO THE ‘83 SETS

Deepika Padukone has joined Ranveer Singh on the sets of Kabir Khan's film ‘83’s England schedule.

It is no secret that the real-life couple is playing a reel-life couple in the film. Ranveer, who is excited to work with wife Deepika in ‘83, took to social media to share a picture with her from the sets.

While Ranveer and Deepika have worked together in various films, it’s a first for the couple to be working with director Kabir Khan. Ranveer Singh has stepped into the shoes of legendary cricketer Kapil Dev for ‘83, and Deepika will play Romi Dev. The film revolves around India's victory at 1983 World Cup.

Calling Kabir Khan a genius for casting them together, Ranveer Singh wrote, "Who better to play my wifey than my wifey?"
