Akshay Kumar was last seen in the sports drama ‘Gold’ which hit the theatres on Independence Day this year.
The megastar is again set to take the box office by the storm with his upcoming project ‘Mission Mangal’, releasing on 15th August 2019.
‘Mission Mangal’, co-produced by Pad Man director R. Balki and directed by Jagan Shakti, boasts of a stellar cast consisting of Vidya Balan, Sonakshi Sinha, Taapsee Pannu and Sharman Joshi, supported by new entrants Nithya Mennon and Kirti Kulhari. The movie is touted as India’s first space film and is ready to go on floors by the end of this month for an Independence Day release next year.
The ‘Gold’ star was naturally elated to share the news with his fans on Twitter. He said, “A powerful true story of ordinary people with extraordinary dreams, on an unheard of mission to achieve the impossible #MissionMangal will come alive on 15th August, 2019.
