Predicted to be one of the biggest blockbusters of the year, Tubelight didn’t quite manage to live up to the audiences’ expectations. However, the high spirits of one of the stars of the film, Salman Khan, are not shaken by this minor failure.
Speaking about how the film fared at the box office, Salman said, “I have never considered myself a superstar the way people make me out to be. I’m still an ordinary person at heart.”
“People who actually change after becoming famous, don’t really last long,” the Sultan actor added.
Salman also said: “There are actors who get in a complacent zone and think, ‘Whatever I do is okay,’ and that’s the worst thing to do ever. No matter which position one is in, one should always work in the way one did for his first film.”
“Sincerity should be there in every shot of yours. You should just focus on doing well. If you take everything for granted, your stardom won’t take much time to come to an end,” the actor shared.
We are very impressed by the actor’s insight on handling stardom – and of course, smitten by his intellect!
