Diljit-Taapsee’s struggle weaves magic song Pardesiya in Soorma

After the official trailer and three songs of the film, the makers of Soorma unveil a new track from the film titled Pardesiya.

The soulful track, penned by the legendary Gulzar and composed by Shankar Ehsaan Loy, is emotional and inspiring in equal measure.

In the video, audiences see actor Diljit Dosanjh tracing the journey of hockey legend Sandeep Singh alongside his co-star Taapsee Pannu, who plays Harpreet, helping Sandeep to get back on his feet against all hardships.

Soorma narrates the story of hockey player Sandeep Singh who was paralysed after an accidental gunshot in 2006. He struggled and battled with his paralysis making a comeback to international hockey in the year 2008 and it was under his captaincy, that India won the 2009 Sultan Azlan Shah Cup and also qualified for the 2012 Olympics.
