On Menstrual Hygiene Day, megastar Akshay Kumar took to social media to share a picture from his film Pad Man and raise awareness.

Akshay Kumar is known to raise social issues through his films. With his revolutionary 2018 film Pad Man, which got the world talking about periods, the actor started a discourse on menstrual hygiene. On Menstrual Hygiene Day, the actor took to social media help raise awareness about the cause once again.

Akshay Kumar shared a picture from his film Pad Man and wrote, "Happy #MenstrualHygieneDay to all the Girls, Mothers and Sisters. Let’s all help every girl child feel Hygienic, Safe & Confident every day of the month #Period.”
