China is getting bombarded with Hindi films and they are loving it.
Aamir Khan has always released his films in the country, but with Dangal making insane money, filmmakers spotted the potential of the neighbouring country adding a lot of money to their kitty.
Take the example of Secret Superstar. It was a modest hit here but earned a whopping Rs 800 crore in China.
Clearly, the world’s second largest film market is really interested in Hindi movies. Bajrangi Bhaijaan, Salman Khan’s debut in China, also clocked in record numbers at the box office. Now Baahubali 2: The Conclusion is also ready to test waters there.
