Police investigating a serious sexual assault on a woman in a Leeds nightclub are appealing for information.
Shortly before 3am today (23/2) police received a report of an 18-year-old woman having been assaulted by a man in the vicinity of a photo booth on the second floor of the Pryzm nightclub, in Woodhouse Lane.
The suspect was described as white, aged in his early twenties, with dark hair in a quiff.
Detective Sergeant Rob Stabler, of Leeds District Safeguarding Unit, said: "The victim had become separated from her friends shortly after midnight and the incident occurred some time between then and when we were contacted. The photo booth is near to the smoking terrace and would have been a busy area of the club.
"We would like to hear from anyone who saw anything or who has any information that could assist the investigation.
"The victim is being supported by specially-trained officers and we are carrying out extensive enquiries to trace the suspect."
Anyone with information is asked to contact DS Stabler at Elland Road via 101 quoting log number 92 of February 23.
