    New research from IBM shows that 50% of industry leaders do not believe that schools adequately prepare students for employment.

    A new non-selective model of education that aims to integrate a higher-qualification alongside secondary learning was launched during National Apprenticeship Week, called P-TECH. IBM said it will provide a solution for the lack of young people with ‘middle level’ qualifications that employers want.

    Joining us to discuss how the skills shortage can be addressed is Jenny Taylor, UK Graduate, Apprenticeship and Student Programme Leader at IBM alongside Mark Wakefield, Head of Corporate Citizenship in IBM UK and lead for IBM’s P-TECH programme in the UK.
