As part of our International Women’s Day Leadership Series, Sunrise Radio is proud to spotlight an inspiring group of women who are making a powerful impact across business, community leadership, law, media and social change.

For more than 36 years, Sunrise Radio has served as the voice of the Asian community across Yorkshire, Lancashire, Greater Manchester and beyond — championing the stories, achievements and contributions of the communities we represent. This special series continues that tradition by celebrating women whose journeys reflect the spirit of this year’s International Women’s Day theme: Give to Gain.

Through a series of exclusive conversations, we highlight remarkable women who are giving back to their communities while building successful careers and inspiring others along the way. From entrepreneurs and lawyers to community leaders and changemakers, each story reflects resilience, leadership and the power of lifting others as we rise.

The profiles featured on our blog provide a brief introduction to each of the women taking part in the series, sharing an overview of their background, achievements and the impact they are making across our communities.
