Josh Warrington stunned Lee Selby in front of a home crowd in Leeds to win the IBF world featherweight belt.
The 27-year-old Yorkshireman became the first man from Leeds to claim a world boxing title. He took victory in a shock split-decision upset over Wales' Selby, 116-112 115-113 113-115.
Selby, 31, who suffered cuts over both eyes by accidental head clashes, could not recover from a thunderous start by Warrington.
Warrington now boasts 27 wins from as many fights.
