GB bobsleigh pilot turns to crowdfunding for Winter Olympics

A GB bobsleigh pilot has turned to crowdfunding in a bid to make it to the 2018 Winter Olympics.

Donna Creighton, who used to compete as a skeleton slider, is the latest to use this method to self-source cash after British Bobsleigh withdrew funding in the women's programme.

Teammates Mica McNeill and Mica Moore reached their £30,000 crowdfunding target on Monday, 25 September.

British Bobsleigh has been criticised by many observers over its decision to withdraw funding five months before the Winter Olympics in South Korea.
