Chelsea have made it through to the semi-finals of the Women’s Champions League.
The team travelled to Germany to face Bayern Munich last night, 11 October, with a 1-0 lead from the first leg and managed to progress to the next stage of the competition despite a scare – losing 2-1 on the night but going through on away goals with an aggregate score of 2-2.
Chelsea, who are competing in Europe for a third consecutive season, had been eliminated by German opposition in Wolfsburg in each of the past two campaigns.
