Woman raped by a suspect impersonating a Police man

A woman from Ludhiana, the northern state of Punjab has alleged she was raped by a suspect impersonating a police man.

The 27-year-old victim has reported a man impersonating a police man took her to a secluded place stating she was required for questioning in an ongoing investigation.

The victim said she was first beaten and then raped. The suspect then threatened to kill her if she told anyone what had happened.
Local police officials have confirmed they have arrested a 35-year-old man in connection to this incident however the investigation is ongoing.
