Three bodies have been recovered by rescuers following an avalanche in the Kashmir region.
The avalanche struck in the mountainous Kupwara region of north Kashmir over the weekend. The bodies of three local men, who belonged to a larger hunting group, were found yesterday (1 March).
Three soldiers were killed in one avalanche in Kupwara last month, as well 11 members of the public in separate avalanches.
