Pakistan media have revealed former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has been denied a personal assistant in jail.
Sharif was handed a seven-year term at a court in Islamabad for having investments beyond his declared assets.
Dawn News reports that, although Sharif does have what is called “better class” status in the Kot Lakhpat jail, he is not allowed an orderly and must “maintain” the prison cell himself.
