Man held for killing sister’s lover in India

A man has been arrested in India in connection with the death of his sister’s lover.

Rahul Namdev was taken into custody by police in the city of Ambernath in the state of Maharashtra.

It is alleged the 25-year-old did not approve of his sister’s relationship with a man identified as Babbu Bagdi.

It is claimed Namdev lured the victim to a quiet location and beat him to death, before taking the body to a hospital to avoid suspicion.

Police say the suspect confessed to the crime under interrogation.
