The longest bridge in India has officially been opened.
The bridge, over five miles long, connects the state of Arunachal Pradesh with the north-eastern state of Assam, over the Lohit river.
Arunachal Pradesh is disputed with China, with the Chinese referring to the area as "southern Tibet".
Construction of the Dhola Sadiya bridge began in 2011.
Beijing has protested against developments in the region but Indian officials hope the bridge will help facilitate further development and increase tourism.
However, a military official has also confirmed the bridge will be useful if armed tensions flared up in the area, mentioning to the BBC that the bridge is capable of supporting 60-ton battle tanks.
