At least eight people have been killed and six others injured in smog-related incidents in the Punjab region of Pakistan.
Local reports say all of the incidents, which occurred on Sunday, 5 November, involved road traffic collisions due to severely reduced vision of zero to 50 meters.
Flights into the area were disrupted over the weekend and the health of the young and elderly has been a major concern due to the inhalation of pollutants.
