24 children have died after the school bus they were travelling on fell into a gorge in India.
The bus driver and two teachers are also believed to have been killed in the crash, which took place on Monday evening (9 April) in a mountainous region of the northern state of Himachal Pradesh.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi's office tweeted that Mr Modi was "anguished" over the news of the deaths.
India's ANI news agency reported eyewitness accounts of the vehicle skidding as it turned a corner and leaving the road.
Authorities have launched an investigation into the incident.
