At least 20 people have been killed after a passenger van collided with a coal truck in Pakistan.
Seven other people were injured in the incident, which took place in Sindh's Khairpur district this morning, 20 November.
According to local police officials, the van driver attempted to overtake a coal-laden truck on the Tehari Bypass but they both collided and ended up in a ditch on the side of the road.
Local media have reported comments from survivors claiming that visibility was hampered during the overtake manoeuvre due to thick smog.
