Bollycakes create vibrant and unique wedding cakes and cookie favours. Our Bollywood-inspired cakes and cookies are bound to be the spectacular centrepiece of your wedding.
Based in Manchester, UK, Bollycakes was established by Usmaa Choudry to provide Asian wedding cakes to discerning couples in Manchester, Cheshire, Bradford, Leeds and across the UK.
Usmaa trained and practised successfully as a professional henna artist for several years. In 2009, she undertook a course in cake decoration and soon realised that her extensive experience as a henna artist meant she had the skills to produce exquisitely detailed designs.
This is what brought Usmaa to launch her own cake business specializing in Asian wedding cakes with a hint of Bollywood bling, enabling her to combine both her talent and her passion.
Since Asian weddings tend to be very vibrant and colourful, they usually require a cake that is much more opulent and flamboyant in style than your average wedding cake.
The mission of Bollycakes is to address this by providing Asian wedding cakes that will take centre stage and hold their own amongst all the colour and glamour of the wedding.
