Teen Maisie Summers-Newton breaks Para-swimming world record

    Sixteen-year-old Maisie Summers-Newton broke the world record for the SM6 200m individual medley at the World Para-swimming European Championships in Dublin.

    The Briton took victory over five-time Paralympic champion Ellie Simmonds, who finished out of the medals in fourth.

    Summers-Newton set a time of two minutes 59.60 seconds, beating Simmonds' old mark by 0.21secs.
