Spurs say emotional farewell to White Hart Lane

Tottenham Hotspurs fans gave an emotional farewell to White Hart Lane yesterday, 14 May.

The team managed to secure a fitting goodbye with a 2-1 win over visitors Manchester United.

The victory also ensures the London club will finish the season in second place, behind Premier League champions Chelsea.

Spurs have played at the Lane for 118 years but are departing to Wembley for next season whilst a new 61,000-seater stadium is built on the same site.

The new home will be ready for the 2018-19 campaign.
