England Women at all-time high FIFA rankings

England Women have reached an all-time high on the FIFA rankings table.

Gareth Southgate’s team sit second, behind reigning world champions the USA. The position is the best ever by any England team.

The men's team reached third in 2012, their best since the men's rankings were introduced in 1992. The women's rankings began in 2003.

The Lionesses have pushed Olympic champions Germany down to third.

England’s ranking improved following Neville’s first three games in charge – finishing runners-up in the SheBelieves Cup earlier this month.
