Brighton and Hove Albion secure promotion

Brighton and Hove Albion have sealed promotion from the Championship to the Premier League.

The south coast side secured top flight football for next season after defeating Wigan at home 2-1 and Huddersfield only managed a draw against Derby.

The Seagulls were homeless only 20 years ago, at which time they nearly suffered relegation from the league football altogether.

Following a £250m investment from Chairman Tony Bloom, the team now boast a revitalised squad and can relish the prospect of Premier League action at their new stadium.
