Ranbir Kapoor DEMANDS last minute changes in the Sanjay Dutt biopic and we know why

Ranbir Kapoor’s next film with Rajkumar Hirani based on the life and times of Bolllywood’s stud Sanjay Dutt is due out in March next year.

The film is one of the most-eagerly awaited releases because it has filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani at the forefront. Raju’s terrific box office record that includes the Munnabhai franchise, 3 Idiots and PK is perhaps the reason for the palpable excitement.

Coming to the Dutt biopic, well, people are keen to see how the magic of RK Junior and Hirani transcends the big screen. The Dutt biopic, tentatively titled Sanju, is almost ready with the principal shooting already complete. The team decided to show a few rushes of the film to a few distributors and exhibitors from all over the country. And the inside reports are extraordinary. Says an exhibitor, “The Sanjay Dutt biopic might change the whole game for Ranbir. They have just shown us a few scenes and a song and Ranbir is unbelievable.”

Word is that Ranbir has seen the rushes of the Sanjay Dutt biopic too. The Bollywood superstar was pleased as punch with what he saw but he has also requested Hirani to shoot a few scenes again. “Ranbir knows this will be his big-ticket film. So, he wants everything to be just perfect. Apparently, Ranbir wants to do even better than he already has. That’s about it,” says a source.
