The highly anticipated war drama Paltan stars an ensemble cast of Arjun Rampal, Sonu Sood, Harshvardhan Rane, Gurmeet Choudhary, Luv Sinha and Jackie Shroff.
Centred on the Indo-Chinese war, director of the film J P Dutta has recently spoken out about the upcoming film and his feelings on war and peace.
Speaking about his intentions behind the film, the director said, “I don’t make films for the box office. I make the film I want to, without compromise […] In Paltan I’ve said what needs to put out there on screen about Indo-Chinese relations”
He says that his hope for Paltan is that it reminds audiences that war is not a solution. He further added,“We must stop thinking about fighting with China or Pakistan. We need peace to prevail if we are to survive in this era of mass destruction.”
